Thunder love

I'd forgotten how much I missed waking to the sound of thunder and the rain pelting down my window. What a start! R called after breakfast and insisted on going to this clothes exhibit in a house in F-10 so I threw on jeans and a top and drove out.

Normally I'd find weather talk a bad pick up line but boy! o! boy! What a feeling! Lightning, breeze and some lovely drizzle. The exhibit was plush, attracting lots of foreigners and the Turkish Ambassador's wife inaugurated the event.I met some old faces and coincidentally bumped into Zarmeen Sipra, fellow writer and exchanged pleasantries.Browsed from one rack to another while photographers asked to pose nonchalantly with random hangers.

We headed to Masoom's for a cuppa coffee and I ran into Chris Cork, the renowed freelance journalist and management consultant.Had a light chat,he gave me his card and told me to contact him should I write something worthwhile.Still high on bolts of thunder!
